Modulo Cerbo : brain module.
It's a "single board computer" and a 9" touchscreen.
The computer is a MinnowBoard Turbot.
It's designed for embedded applications, like ATM's or ticket kiosks.
It's not a super powerhouse, but it is very reliable, fast booting, fanless, and can run i386/amd64 executable software.
Stained to match the pedalboard built last summer. Red mahogany stain.
One benefit of not being in any particular hurry is availability to inspiration.
Incubating an idea.
While 'drafting' ( if that's what you wanna call such undisciplined scale doodles) it occurred to me that I could put some of the intended cabinetry below the dais. So I decided to mount the computer cabinet underneath. Unnecessarily large... the idea isn't to see how small something can be - the mainstream industry is hell bent on that. I'm after accessibility, ease of modification.
