Sports Players Overpaid

I'm Baiting you, Dogg. I've thought sports players have been overpayed (and overglorified) since i was a youngun' so it's no surprise to me. I hear you have a major beef.

Well?

over paid cry babies

How much money is enough when it comes to playing a fucking game?
It's a GAME.....realy.....who can run hit and catch the best is not realy worth that
amount of money, just think what ya can do with that money. hope all the players sleep well while the fans that support them go to sleep wonder if they are going to have a place to hang there ball cap.

ingrateful little bastards

They sleep well, they eat well, and they fly well too. And they don't appreciate the people who clean up after them. The plane looks like a gang of teenaged chimps had a weekend keg party in it. Chips ground into the carpet, half eaten hot dogs (with mustard still on them) stuffed into the seat pockets, stuff that I don't even want to know what it is/was dried up and stuck to the window. And the unmistakable smell of hockey player piss. I don't know what they feed those guys, but DAMN!

And do they ever take a minute out of their day to say "Hey, thanks for cleaning up all of our shit. Here's a comp ticket to our next game."
No.
Jerks.

Ungrateful little bastards

Have to agree with Dogg and Michelle on this post.

My son was in the same grade as a now infamous hockey player. My son's high school experience and now I believe even the rest of his life will be coloured by the assinine behaviour of a "sports hero". In the tenth grade my son sat in front of this "hero" in math class. The "hero" was such an asshole as to still be doing wet willies in the ears of his classmates including my son. Within a couple of months, this "hero" signed a multi million dollar contract with an NHL team. How do you suppose that makes the rest of his peers feel? The ones he bullied. The ones he made fun of. Yeah, they wonder about their value to society.

I've only ever been able to afford to take my two sons to one hockey game and one basketball game and yet the lingering taste in my mouth is of people who are immature and who abuse those around them. But it is these same people who society chooses to reward with massive salaries.

As for charity contributions, this person has given a grand total of $10,000 to a new arena campaign. This tells me that trickle-down doesn't work and probably is a distant myth.

Jerks, precisely.
